Water Treatment System

We install and maintain many different types of water treatment systems designed to solve a wide range of water quality problems. We always begin by sampling the water to determine exactly what contaminants are present so we can design the appropriate treatment system—rather than installing a generic, one-size-fits-all setup.

We install are water softeners, which remove hardness minerals such as calcium and magnesium. We also install iron treatment systems specifically designed to remove iron and manganese.

Arsenic is common in both the valley and mountainous regions, and nitrates are frequently found in the valley—especially in heavy agricultural areas. Both arsenic and nitrates fall under the Primary EPA Public Drinking Water Standards. We use a variety of specialized media types to properly treat these and many other water issues. Sulfate-reducing bacteria and iron bacteria are also common in the valley and can produce strong, unpleasant odors. We use several treatment systems to effectively reduce or eliminate these smells.

We also install ultraviolet (UV) disinfection systems to kill Total Coliform Bacteria and E. coli when needed.

With every water treatment system we install, we take a post-installation water sample and send it to a certified laboratory to confirm the system is operating properly.
